Singaporeans search for Valentine's gift ideas, local retailers miss promotional opportunities

Despite falling on the same day as Chinese New Year, Singaporeans were gearing up for Valentine's Day. New data from Experian Hitwise reveals that Singapore internet searches for 'valentine gift ideas', was the highest volume search term for the week ending 5 February 2010, exceeding those for 'chinese new year'.
